A portrait is special - not something you do every day, or even every year.  We take the time to make sure you get what you want. 

The first step is a complimentary, no obligation consultation.  We’ll talk about what you have in mind, where the session will take place, the clothing that will work best, and last but not least, your budget and how we can meet your expectations in a price range that you’re comfortable with.

• Simple is best.
• Solid colours work well.
• Groups should wear similar colours, tones, and styles.
• Patterns and logos can be distracting.
• Jeans and khakis are good choices for casual portraits. 
• Bare feet look great in casual portraits.
• Feel free to bring a jacket, hat, or scarf for a different look and feel.
• Wrinkles show up in pictures. If you want to wear that special linen jacket (or anything else that wrinkles big time) bring it on a hanger and put it on at the session.

If we’re taking an outdoor portrait, the time of day is very important. At our pre-session consultation, we will decide on the optimal time of day for both you and the light. With children, it’s a good idea to schedule the session right after naps and ensure they are well fed so they can be bright-eyed and bushytailed.

If something comes up, we’re happy to reschedule your portrait session with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. (Emergencies will be taken into account!)

It may take up to two weeks for your portraits to be ready for viewing and ordering. We will set up an appointment to go over them in person.

All the images that you order will be kept on file for a year. 

Stuff happens, especially with children, and if by chance you are not happy with the results of the photo session, I will happily re-photograph, at no extra charge, at your convenience. We offer a 100% guarantee.

At the Complimentary Pre-Session Consultation, we'll plan your photography session in a range that will accommodate your budget.

Digital copies of images in high resolution JPEG format, and low resolution web format, are available under certain circumstances. Ask me for details.

The session fee is payable in advance to hold your booking with Visa or MasterCard. At the Ordering Session, 50% of the order is payable, with the balance due prior to delivery.  Flexible payment plans are available.
